Figure Five

Credit: Unknown

Setup: Set up five sticks, cones, or barrels (or whatever you have) five yards apart in a square formation, with one marker placed in the center. Set up the target 5 yards away from the front markers and aligned with the center marker.

Procedure: Start in the center with your hands at your sides. Draw and engage the target with one or two shots (your choice). Then, move to any of the four outer positions and engage the target again. Move back to the center and engage the target once more. Repeat this for each of the four outside positions, always returning to the center in between. You should start and end at the center. If you fire one shot per position, you will fire 9 shots in total.

Goal: Run this in 20 seconds or less with all Alphas.

I've also seen this done in a straight line.

Setup: Set 5 markers 2 yards apart in a straight line. Set up your target 7 yards away from the center marker.

Procedure: Start at the far left or right marker with your hands at your sides. Draw and engage the target with one or two shots (your choice). Then, move to next closest marker and engage the target again. Move back to the start and engage the target once more. Repeat this, moving to the next marker skipping over the one you just shot from, always returning to the starting position.

Goal: Complete this in 30 seconds or less with all Alphas.
